Dawson and Hennessy named as replacements in Home Hardware CHL Top Prospects Game

Defenceman Aaron Dawson of the Peterborough Petes and Quebec Remparts’ centre Josh Hennessy have been named as replacements for the 2003 Home Hardware Canadian Hockey League Top Prospects Game. The eighth edition of the game that will feature forty of the CHL’s top prospects for the 2003 National Hockey League Entry Draft will be played at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex on Wednesday, January 23 at 7:00 P.M. Eastern.

Hennessy, a native of Rockland, Mass., will replace Kamil Kreps of the Brampton Battalion who suffered an injury in weekend play. Dawson will take the place of Remparts’ defenceman Jean Michel Bolduc who was injured in Quebec’s game on Friday night. Both Hennessy and Dawson will play for Team Cherry.

In 50 games this season Hennessy has 23 goals, 30 assists for 53 points and is in second in team scoring. Dawson has six assists in 44 games with the Petes this season.

The 2003 Home Hardware CHL Top Prospects Game will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet and RDS starting at 7:00 P.M. Eastern on Wednesday.
